A SIGN WITH A MESSAGE
ANCHORED IN COMMUNITY
If you’ve driven past Topsail High School lately, you may have seen it—a simple but bold sign reading “FOR TOPSAIL.” It’s more than a catchy slogan or church initiative. It’s a prayer and a promise.

A PRAYER AND A PROMISE
“We have always been a church that is passionate about reaching every man, woman, and child with the Good News,” says Executive Pastor Lenny Moore of Renovation Church. “The ‘For Topsail’ sign is a way of saying we are for this community—here to serve, love, and share hope.”
Renovation Church has turned this message into action through “For Topsail Serve Days”—events held three times a year that bring together hundreds of volunteers to complete community projects across Pender and Onslow counties. In 2024 alone, more than 1,000 volunteers completed nearly 100 projects, logging just under 5,000 hours of service.
And the impact? It’s everywhere—from cleaned-up parks and repaired homes to stocked pantries and smiling faces.
“Our hope is that people will see that God is for them—and so are we,” Moore says. “We’re just getting started.”
Visitors and locals alike can get involved through the Serve Days, upcoming again this summer in June. Simply visit www.renochurch.org/fortopsail to learn more or to join a project.
